Freelance Mantra (“we”, “us”, or “our”) understands that unexpected circumstances can arise, and we therefore offer cancellation and refund options for our various services.
1. Cancellation of Projects:
- Clients can cancel a project at any time before the freelancer has accepted it. Cancellations after acceptance will be subject to the following:
- Within 24 hours of acceptance: Clients may receive a full refund.
- After 24 hours of acceptance: Refunds will be determined on a case-by-case basis, considering factors such as work already completed by the freelancer and communication about the cancellation.
- Freelancers can cancel a project if they:
- Cannot complete the project in accordance with the agreed-upon scope and timeline.
- Face unforeseen circumstances that prevent them from continuing.
- Are not paid on time as per the agreed-upon payment terms.
In such cases, freelancers are required to notify the client promptly and refund any advance payments received.
2. Cancellation of Subscriptions:
- Clients can cancel their monthly or annual subscriptions at any time.
- For monthly subscriptions: Cancellations within the current billing cycle will not be eligible for prorated refunds.
- For annual subscriptions: Cancellations before the end of the subscription period will be eligible for a prorated refund based on the unused portion of the subscription.
3. Cancellation of Paid Features:
- Clients can cancel any paid features within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund.
- Cancellations after the 24-hour window will not be eligible for refunds.
4. General Refund Policy:
- To request a refund, please contact us through our support channels with a clear explanation for the cancellation and any relevant documentation.
- Refunds will be processed within 7 business days of approval.
- Please note that certain payment processors may apply their own fees for processing refunds, which will be deducted from the refunded amount.
- Refunds will not be provided for:
- Services rendered in full before a cancellation request is received.
- Disputes based on subjective reasons like dissatisfaction with the freelancer’s work, unless the work materially deviates from the agreed-upon project scope.
- Fees associated with payment processing or other third-party services.
6. Communication and Resolution:
We encourage open communication to resolve any issues or concerns regarding cancellations and refunds. We are committed to working with both clients and freelancers to find fair and amicable solutions.
7. Changes to this Policy:
We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. The latest version will be posted on our website. Please check this page periodically for any changes.
